    Description


    Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Development, the Talent Development Director, Leadership Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive strategies to cultivate leadership skills and engage, develop and retain talent at GLG.

    You will oversee the design and delivery of leadership and talent development solutions that are culturally relevant, scalable globally and aligned with GLG's global priorities.

    You will partner with business leaders across the Americas region to understand business needs, provide hands-on support and coaching, and deliver impactful leadership development programs.

    In addition, you will work closely with your Talent Development global colleagues to support the deployment of programs and initiatives around the globe.

    More specifically, you will...
    Identify and assess leadership development needs using a range of methods including assessment tools, talent review discussions etc.
    Define and execute a leadership development strategy aligned with GLG's business goals.
    Design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and coaching sessions to enhance key leadership skills.
    Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to identify high-potential employees and create strategies to drive their development.
    Establish a framework for mentoring and coaching programs to foster the growth and development of high potential talent.
    Implement succession planning initiatives to build a pipeline of skilled leaders for critical roles within the organization.
    Support and coach senior leaders, providing guidance on leadership best practices and development opportunities.

    Partner with the Global Program Manager to identify key results and metrics for leadership programs, evaluate their effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and embed inclusivity in all our programs and processes.
    Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in leadership and talent development.
    8+ years of leadership development experience with up-to-date knowledge of leadership development practices including assessment, assimilation and coaching.

    An impressive track record of leadership development program design and delivery, with experience embedding DE&I practices into all talent initiatives.

    Hands-on experience with talent management strategies including talent assessment, development and retention.
    Excellent facilitation skills with SLII and coaching accreditation
    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present across various forums and to a diverse audience.
    A proven track record of supporting large-scale change initiatives.
    Ability to analyze data to produce insights that can inform future strategy.
    Experience identifying, assessing and managing external vendor partners.
    Knowledge of psychometric tools; ideally Hogan and DISC accredited.

    Working Environment:
    Flexible / Hybrid working arrangements typically requiring 2 days per week in office.

    GLG is committed to fair andequitable compensation practices.

    Actual compensation is basedon several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depthof experience, certifications, and specific work location.

    Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
    The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
    $94,200
