Description
The Utah State Bar is seeking a Communications Director to oversee the Bars communication strategy.The Communications Director works with all forms of media, including digital, print, social media, and audio visual to inform Bar licensees about Bar events, Bar benefits and services, compliance requirements, volunteer opportunities, and legal and judicial news.
The Communications Director also promotes legal services and relevant Bar programs to the public and informs the public about the function of and the importance of the legal system, lawyers, and the judiciary in society.
ResponsibilitiesPlease visit for a list of position responsibilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work.
Technological ability to use a variety of digital platforms and create web and mobile content including videos.
Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 products, Adobe Creative Suite, Google, and common social media applications and tools.
Ability to use content management systems such as Wordpress, Constant Contact and other CRM software.Some travel required.
