    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting to promote health and independence.
    • Assist residents with mobility and functional nursing care as specified in the nursing care plan, which includes transfers, ambulation, ROM exercises, and use of assistive equipment.
    • Build professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors to foster open communication based on mutual respect.
    • Support nursing assessments and treatment procedures in accordance with the State Nursing Practice Act and facility policies, including vital signs monitoring and specimen collection.
    • Adhere to Infection Control protocols, including Standard Precautions and safe handling of biohazardous materials.
    • Familiarize yourself with care protocols like falls prevention and behavior management, while also addressing residents' nutritional and hydration needs.
    • Accept and act on resident assignments from Nurse Leaders, observing and reporting any changes in the residents' physical or mental condition.
    • Understand and enforce established protocols regarding Resident Rights, Abuse Reporting, HIPAA compliance, and emergency responses.
    • Encourage and assist residents to actively participate in social and recreational activities.
    • Accurately document the care provided, including LNA flow sheets and relevant data as outlined in each resident's Care Plan.

    Qualifications:

    • Active NH LNA License
    • Previous experience working with senior citizens is highly preferred
