    General Job ResponsibilitiesCommunity Bank Branch Managers provide an essential service to both the Bank and the customer and include a variety of functions that may differ from bank to bank.

    Staff may perform functions from one or more specialized areas as described below and provide other bank services.

    Branch Managers must possess a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services, fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank, and are able to communicate effectively with the customer and staff.

    This position requires communication, and problem solving skills. Branch Managers report to a designated Officer.

    Branch Managers Staff in this position may perform the functions listed below:

    Monitors staff leave issues and ensure all bank functions are adequately staffedFills in as needed in teller and customer service representative positionsSupervises some staff functions such as switchboard and receptionistVerifies and adjusts time cards as neededAssists with human resource functionsProvides training to new staff; provide cross-training and in-service to all staff.

    Performs daily cash balancingPrepares various daily, weekly, and monthly reportsAssists auditors as requiredAssists with ATMProvide customer assistanceMay oversee facility maintenanceHandles suppliesConducts regular branch meetingsOther duties as assigned by managementEducation and ExperienceEducationGraduation from high school or equivalent GED required; some college or post graduate technical training preferred.
