    Summary

    $12,000 Bonus for all FT/PT Day Shift positions

    $3,000/yr Tuition Loan Repayment (up to $9,000)

    Our Clinical Nurses in PACU independently provide care to patients presenting for immediate recovery from various surgical procedures. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including, but not limited to body systems assessment, airway management, fluid management, and sedation and analgesia, and serves as a resource for other team members.

    Practices consistent with the mission, vision and values of Goshen Health, the Department of Nursing's Philosophy, and model of care. Practices professional nursing at an excellent level within the Goshen nursing model of care keeping a primary focus on the patient/family using the nursing process, culturally appropriate interventions, and holistic principles with attention to continuity of care and patient advocacy, while maintaining a safe environment. Is a leader in professional nursing both in direct care and in colleague relationships using ethical principles, collaboration, peer review, evidence-based practice, and teaching & learning principles.

    Position Accountabilities:

  • Position Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license. Colleagues hired with an associate degree must enter a BSN program within 12 months of hire and earn their BSN from a NLN or CCNE accredited program within 5 years of beginning their BSN degree. Effective February 2021, Colleagues hired with an associate degree and 10 or more years of nursing experience may be exempt from entering into a BSN program.
  • Preferred Experience: One to two years experience related to unit of hire.
  • Certifications Required: AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification. ACLS and PALS required within one year of hire.
