Join our team as an Over the Road Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver and take on the challenge of delivering freight to New York and New Jersey. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in route driving, load & unload procedures, and vehicle operation will be essential to keep our supply chain moving smoothly.

OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers:

Dedicated runs to Holtsville, NY and Brooklyn, NY and New Jersey drops– typically delivers Monday AM
$0.70 mile; East of Pennsylvania Highway 206 - $1.00 per mile $80,000+/year and enjoy time at home
$20 per Unload/Pick up Pay after 1st Stop
Home weekly
Assigned truck
Biweekly Pay Period/Direct deposit

Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor-trailers with dedicated runs, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Manage refrigerated trailers, ensuring proper temperature control during transit to maintain product integrity
Maintain detailed logs of driving hours using Samsara, routes traveled, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record
2 Years driving experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations within the last 3 years
Proficiency in operating manual and automatic transmission trucks
Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus
Knowledge of load & unload procedures and freight handling techniques
Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
