- 3 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- ARRT – Radiography
- Vascular Interventional Radiography Post-Primary Certification from the ARRT (VI)
- Conduct a range of Interventional Radiology procedures under the direction of physicians and radiologists.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, providing appropriate care and monitoring vital signs as needed.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist physicians during invasive procedures, and operate specialized equipment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to established protocols and safety measures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with advances in Interventional Radiology techniques and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
- ARRT – Radiography certification required.
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts certification required; ability to interview without KS license and apply upon offer.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Preferred certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography Post-Primary Certification from the ARRT (VI).
- Proficient knowledge of Interventional Radiology procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
