Merritt Hawkins, the nations premier academic search firm, invites you to consider a rare opportunity to join the internationally renowned Diabetes & Metabolism Research Institute at City of Hope. We are seeking a physician investigator with previous experience and/or strong interest in developing and conducting investigator-initiated, FDA-approved Phase I and Phase II clinical trials in either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.

A board certified or eligible, fellowship-trained Endocrinologist is highly preferred but other medical specialties with translational research experience will also be considered. This is an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the advancement of diabetes medicine.

• Headed by Arthur D. Riggs, Ph.D., a pioneer in the field renowned for his work on synthesizing the first man-made gene and using synthetic genes to produce human insulin.
• Home to a multidisciplinary team of endocrinologists, diabetes immunologists, stem cell biologists, geneticists, and other clinical and basic science investigators.
• With three on-campus therapeutics manufacturing facilities, as well as a fourth in planning, a promising new idea can quickly go from concept all the way to patient trials.
