**Job Title: Glazing Estimator/PM**

My client is a family-owned glazing company for the past 9 years based in Pomona, CA, dedicated to delivering exceptional glazing solutions to clients. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they have built a strong reputation in the industry. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Glazing Estimator/PM to head up the estimating department. This person will be the only Estimator and heavily relied on by the Owner who drives in new business.
**Location:** Pomona, CA (Hybrid work from home opportunity)
**Salary:** Flexible, upwards of $110,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience

**Job Description:**
**Responsibilities:**
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for glazing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
Review project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine project requirements and scope
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project objectives and provide cost-effective solutions
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards
Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to accurately estimate material quantities and costs
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and participate in bid meetings and negotiations
Track and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle and provide regular updates to project teams
Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality or performance
Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and related documentation
**Qualifications:**
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience estimating for glazing projects.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., True Construction) preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of glazing materials, systems, and installation methods
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
