- Meetappropriate certifications/ qualifications to perform services
- Customer service oriented and result driven
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (on-site training provided as needed)
- Deliver a variety of spa services
- Maintain and keep a clean and stocked room
- Respond and help with all costumer inquires
- Provide a schedule
- PPE Gear required
- Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
- Cooperate with and report to administration with any issues
- Other duties as needed
- Developclientele by seminars, workshops, demo days etc.
- Keep the work room/ area safe and clean
- Workwith other therapist to share space/ rooms and time
- Helpsell services and product by working with the fitness desk.
- Crosspromote fitness programs the JCC has to offer.
- Provideservices for members per diem including but not limited to:
- Requires long periods of standing or sitting
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Provide services for members per diem including but not limited to: Massages, facials, waxing, therapeutic services, etc.

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a spa massage therapist. This position primarily works with members by delivering a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, waxing). The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Kaplen JCC On The Palisades is a welcoming home away from home for all who pass through its front doors. Our 185,000 square foot building plus acres of outside grounds feature 2 fitness centers, an indoor and outdoor aquatics center, group exercise, spin and pilates studios, 2 gymnasiums, tennis and racquet courts, indoor track, a luxurious spa, multiple playgrounds and fields and so much more. The JCC is home to the renowned Thurnauer School of Music, Leonard and Syril Rubin Nursery School, Neil Klatskin Day Camp, and the JCC Dance and Drama Schools.
