    Social Worker-I/P Psych-LCSW-C Job Description

    We are seeking a part-time Social Worker to join our team at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

    Job Summary:

    The Social Worker will act as a coordinator of psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for patients receiving inpatient psychiatric services. They will provide leadership and psychosocial support to address individual needs, utilizing knowledge of community and healthcare resources to assist with identified needs throughout the continuum.

    Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate psychosocial assessments and discharge planning for patients
  • Provide leadership and psychosocial support to address individual needs
  • Utilize knowledge of community and healthcare resources to assist with identified needs

    • Requirements:

    • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other appropriate field
    • 3-5 years of experience
    • Maryland licensure LCSW-C or LCPC
    • Ability to participate in unit or departmental work groups and meetings, exhibiting initiatives and leadership skills

    Work Schedule:

    16 hours per week, 8am - 4:30pm

    Salary: $28.00-$49.00 per hour, based on experience
