    Schedule- Shift - Hours

    Full Time Day
    This position has responsibility for monitoring contracts for compliance and accurate pricing. Input may be required by departments for budgetary cost estimates. The employee is responsible for assisting the VAPC with daily job functions. The employee is responsible for following established policies and procedures. The employee must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform job duties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Complies with the standards of employee conduct and hospital safety standards.

    The basic job duties an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation include:

    Monitors Novation Opportunity Programs for compliance and receipt of incentive payments. Establishes and maintains a database for tracking all negotiated contracts. Insures that contracted pricing is maintained.
    Works with Purchasing Specialist to resolve all contract discrepancies.
    Assist VAPC's with daily job duties.
    Assist with Projects and Capital.
    Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct as noted in Policy and

    JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience
    B.S. Degree preferred in business or healthcare field.

    Must have a minimum of five years experience in health care clinical environment or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
