- The Director of Nursing will oversee the daily operations of the nursing home to ensure exceptional patient care for all geriatric residents.
- Maintain good relations with facility staff, unit nurses, outside service providers, and corporate executives.
- Develop and implement policies that support resident care of the following needs: therapeutic, neuro & dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, TPN, infectious disease, and wound care if applicable.
- Maintains compliance with NYS regulatory standards but also work to optimize operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze facility performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and resident satisfaction.
- MSN in Nursing preferred, but not required, RN license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a hospital or LTC care setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
