Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time commercial HVAC Mechanic / Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. We want someone who is dependable, hardworking and capable of being a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining and repairing commercial ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty service.
Meeting local HVAC codes
Measuring, marking, cutting, bending, shaping, fitting and joining sheets of metal together.
Fabricating, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal products and structures, including ducts.
Interpreting blueprints and technical manuals to determine requirements and dimensions.
Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the HVAC or mechanical industry
Certification/Professional license as required by the state
Understanding of advanced principles of HVAC
Proficient in reading schematics
Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to lift 50 lbs
