    PERI is currently looking for an Formwork Field Support Specialist to join our PERI Family The Formwork Field Support Specialist (FSS) is to provide on-site technical support to customers by sharing their high-level PERI product knowledge and best practices for the safe assembly and effective use of PERI products. The FSS does this by demonstrating proper assembly and use of PERI products in addition to answering technical questions about products and product use. Leveraging PERI's resources, the FSS ensures all parties are aware of potential problems and safety issues pertaining to PERI equipment. In addition, it is the responsibility of the FSS position to provide excellent customer service to customers and liaison with internal departments and customers.

    What you'll do in a typical day:

    • Provide on-site support through sharing of technical, product knowledge, and best practices for safely assembly products and provides accurate answers to all inquiries and questions' regarding to PERI's products.
    • Demonstrate safe and efficient usage of formwork to maximize customers performance and ensure all parties are informed regarding essential problems and safety issues.
    • Work with internal PERI departments including Customer Service, Logistics, Engineering, and Sales to coordinate job execution, truck loadings and delivery plans.
    • Review assembled equipment to ensure proper assembly and advise when equipment is not assembled correctly
    • Assist in training PERI Assembly team on various PERI products and assembly of products
    • Oversee product orientation for customers
    • Facilitate small fixes on fabricated parts (welder/mag drills etc.)
    • Assist the customer in interpreting and reading the engineering layout or assembly drawings prepared by PERI's Engineering team
    • Identify potential problems with PERI equipment and ensure that all parties including the Contractor, Superintendent, Project Manager, PERI Safety, PERI Engineering, and PERI Sales teams are notified of such findings on a timely basis
    • Accurately and consistently identifying problems related to PERI Equipment and their cause, then develops action plans for immediate and appropriate resolution
    What you'll need to be successful:
    • Ability to effectively demonstrate proper usage of PERI products, effectively troubleshoot technical issues related to PERI products, and answer customer questions pertaining to PERI products
    • Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA and local construction standards and safety requirements along with the ability to accurately read blueprints and designs.
    • Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to utilizing new technology/software
    • Project Management knowledge with the ability to successfully manage a project schedule
    • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
    • Ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
    • Critical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills, results-oriented and data-driven mind-set
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and co-workers and conceptualize cause and effect in various departments
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team along with the ability to manage and succeed in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers to reach a common goal and adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
    • Ability to work with diverse teams and with individuals at various positions inside and outside of PERI.
