    Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

    Experience:


    • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.


    • 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.


    • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.


    • BSN completion preferred

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission).


    • This role will require floating to multiple units


    • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.


    • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.


    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

    Additional Details:

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    • Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac

    Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms

    Special Requests: No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.

    Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Req: Every other weekend, 6 weekend shifts

    7 days maximum time off

    2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
