Azure Data Engineer, CG 60- NAM Comm Ops- Analytics, Insights & Automation (Nashville or Cambridge)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to leverage their expertise in Azure, your role will help create and maintain the core foundation on the Azure Platform from which North American Analytics solutions will be built.
Your role:
Be a part of a product team consisting of business intelligence developers, product owners and stakeholder success leaders to understand the needs for data and create effective data workflows and assist to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Design, develop, and implement data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform Azure Synapse, SQL Data Warehouse or MS SQL Server.
Ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of data; monitor and optimize data solutions to ensure performance and efficiency
Stay current on the latest Azure data services and technologies
You're the right fit:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
4+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure
Strong knowledge of Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Server
Experience with data processing languages such as SQL, Python, and Scala
Experience with agile methodologies on Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Experience with data modeling and database design with cloud computing concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and collaboration skills
Additional Information
