    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making across various departments within the company.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and objectives.

    Scope, develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI and other tools under the guidance of CountryMark's Data Governance Team.

    Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

    Lead efforts to establish and document analytics-related business processes in Workplace Excellence.

    Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting as requested.

    Support decision-making processes by presenting insights and recommendations to management.

    Assist in the implementation and optimization of BI solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

    Stay updated on industry automation trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics.

    Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):

    Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field is preferred.

    Experience: 5 – 7 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role is required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Familiarity with the oil and gas industry or refinery operations.

    Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.

    Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.

    Certification in business intelligence or data analytics.

    Other:

    Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data manipulation and extraction.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

    Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.

    Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
