    Position Overview: Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for the construction industry? We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our finance team and play a key role in overseeing our financial processes. In this position, you will work closely with the Controller to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data while providing strategic insights to support business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Manage the month-end close process and reconcile financial accounts.
    • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to track project costs and ensure profitability.
    • Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with construction industry experience highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
