    About the Role:


    You will be responsible for local and remote user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, system administration, utilizing security software and procedures.

    You will work closely with multiple vendors, multiple internal departments, and multiple Eriez team members worldwide. This position contributes greatly to the overall efficiency of the entire Eriez Manufacturing organization.

    Responsibilities:
    Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in personTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them efficientlyMonitor system performance and perform administrative tasksInstall, configure, and update software applications and operating systemsPerform routine system maintenance tasks, such as updates and patchesSetup and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware devicesOnboard, offboard, and maintain user accounts primarily through Active DirectoryReport and escalate issues to management when neededParticipate in cybersecurity reviews and initiativesEnforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's IT infrastructureEducate users on best practices for information securityMaintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and user informationCommunicate technical information effectively to non-technical usersCollaborate with employees, vendors, and management, managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyRequirements

    Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent3+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Ethernet/Wi-Fi topologySolid technical background, with hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Hosting, IIS, O365, Email / Exchange, and prefer AZURE experienceStrong working knowledge of Antivirus, backup solutions, and system monitoringDemonstrate drive in continuous process improvementExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsBenefits
