    Soliant, in partnership with local school districts in Ruidoso, NM, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This school-based role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and personal growth.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico.
    • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • At least one year of recent experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
    • Knowledge of educational regulations and requirements related to speech and language services in school settings.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and objectives.
    • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure coordinated support for students' communication needs.
    • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided, progress reports, and other relevant information.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
    • Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
