    Join the Walmart Health & Wellness Compliance team to support the growth and expansion of Pharmacy services at the world's largest retailer Director - Health & Wellness Compliance Sam's Club is a critical thought-leadership role that will be at the forefront of supporting the Sam's Club Pharmacies, Optical and Hearing Aid Business.

    The Director - Health & Wellness Compliance Sam's Club will collaborate with other members of the Compliance team and Sam's Club Health & Wellness associates, and business partners to understand business strategies and identify potential compliance risks as well as establish effective controls and compliance oversight related to those risks.

    The Director - Health & Wellness Compliance Sam's Club will support Sam's Club pharmacies by helping to lead an effective compliance program, driving regulatory compliance, identifying potential compliance risks associated with business strategies, and establishing effective controls and compliance oversight related to those risks.


    What you'll do:


    Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams as a Health and Wellness Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serve as a trusted liaison, fostering effective communication and alignment between Sam's Club leadership and other Global Ethics and Compliance SMEs on all Health and Wellness compliance matters.

    Develop and oversee the implementation of Health & Wellness standards and controls across all the Sam's Club pharmacies and Optical Departments to create best practices and consistency across all facilities for key risk areas.

    Proactively identify and address compliance risks in business strategies and initiatives and will be responsible for leading the oversight and execution of compliance programmatic efforts designed to support the Sam's Club Healthcare senior leadership and field operation leaders to valuate, enhance, and mitigate compliance risks in the Sam's Club Healthcare business.

    Play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and tailoring compliance changes and updates to the Sam's Club business and implement Health and Wellness Compliance Policies and Procedures, as well as controls, for Sam's Club Pharmacies and Optical Departments Monitor compliance program status for all Sam's Club pharmacies and Optical Departments


    Drive the strategic direction of the Controlled Substance Compliance Stewardship program across all Sam's Club pharmacies including effectively engaging Senior Leadership, Field Leadership, and pharmacists.

    Partner with Sam's Club Field Leaders when compliance gaps are identified for teaching/training/accountability regarding controlled substance compliance issues. Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.

    The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

    Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.

    3 years' supervisory experience. 4 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
