The Diageo Plainfield facility is the premier site in North American Supply. As the Plainfield facility continues to grow and install advancement in ever complicated technologies, the troubleshooting requirements placed on staff continues to become more advanced.
The I&E Engineer will be responsible for instrumentation and electrical support and for the effectiveness of the DCS system and process controls for 10 bottling lines and liquid processing.'
Key Outputs: Strong PLC experience to be able to troubleshoot code within the Allen Bradley control system environment. Timely and accurate repair of facility instrumentation, controls, and electrical circuits. Troubleshooting inspecting diagnosing testing adjusting digital pneumatic manual instrumentation Regularly works with bottling equipment such as fillers labelers coding systems Inspection systems palletizers etc Troubleshooting tuning optimizing control loops Performs knowledge transfer activities in partnership with Maintenance Team Members Actively participating in cross-functional work teams Ability quickly learn understand liquid processing batch continuous systems Familiar root cause problem solving methods documentation Skilled reading functional specs loop diagrams P&ID drawings logic diagrams Finding solutions bottling processing problems Responsible identifying executing improvement projects drive productivity minimize waste Contributes development implementation I&E preventative maintenance program'
Qualifications Experience Required: Technical Degree Certificate relevant Controls Systems Engineering equivalent combination education technical work experience Experience Allen Bradley PLCs Relevant instrumentation electrical maintenance experience Familiar current electrical regulations codes safe work practices Working knowledge Allen Bradley VFDs Servo drive components Knowledge manufacturing equipment required Experience Packaging Bottling preferred Familiar Industrial Control Networks ex Ethernet Profibus Remote I O DH+ Control Net Demonstrated capability troubleshoot calibrate Process Instrumentation Must read comprehend electrical instrumentation drawings Demonstrated ability work cross functional team environment Strong problem solving written verbal communication skills Demonstrated commitment safety','valid_job':1}0
