Medical Laboratory Technician - FT All ShiftsExceptional Healthcare is seeking Medical Lab Technicians to join its team in Lubbock, TX
Job Duties:
Areas of testing include:
hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking.
Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
Manages daily workload within the departmentto ensure patient testing is completed timely
Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patientresults and taking corrective action when needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have an Associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science.
Bachelor's degree preferred
ASCP certified or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience
Knowledgeof hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards
Knowledgeof governmentaland regulating policies and standards
