    Description

    The Department of Department of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System is recruiting a full or part time radiologist for the Mount Sinai Queens Hospital.
    Mount Sinai Queens Hospital campus a 235-bed licensed acute care facility in Astoria, New York.

    Mount Sinai Queens provides adult medical and surgical services, with a team of nearly 500 physicians representing about 40 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.

    The department performs over 80,000 examinations annually and is equipped with CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and US.

    Additionally, there is an adjoining ambulatory facility, Mount Sinai Queens Imaging, with state-of-the-art 1.5T MRI, PET-CT, DEXA, mammography and US units.

    The department also provides radiology services at Mount Sinai Doctors Brooklyn Heights, a multispecialty practice that encompasses a wide range of outpatient services including Primary Care, Urgent Care, and numerous specialty services.

    On-site radiology services include mammography, ultrasound, CT, and radiography, performing approximately 16,000 exams annually.

    • Compensation range from 170,000K to 536,827K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

    Position Qualifications:

    • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
    • New York Medical License
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology
    • A clinical background in General Radiology or a fellowship training in Body Imaging are preferred but other subspecialties will be considered
    • Interventional Radiology is not required
    • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

    Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

    Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.

    As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.

    The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
