We have grown into one of the largest mechanical contractors in NJ servicing large commercial and industrial buildings consisting of chiller plants, built-up penthouses, and large HVAC equipment. We are looking for highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision to join our growing team of HVAC professionals.

Signing Bonus Based on Experience

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 Years Experience
• EPA Certified
• Clean Driver's License

This position is responsible for diagnosing & repairing HVAC system's, with accuracy and to the customer's satisfaction. This position has working conditions that expose you to various weather conditions and require you to work outside normal working hours including evening, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Service technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, on time and to the customer's satisfaction. This position has working conditions that expose you to various weather conditions and require you to work outside normal working hours including evening, weekends, and holidays, when necessary.

· Maintain and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems consisting of various mechanical, duct, and piping systems.

· Identify maintenance risks on equipment.

· Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

· Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform preventative maintenance.

· Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

· Site preparation & clean-up

· Maintain a clean truck and job site.

· Ensure compliance with code standards and system specifications.

· Maintain regular attendance and willingness to work OT and weekends.

· Work as a professional with clients, co-workers, and subcontractors

Required skills and strengths:

· A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

· Proficient in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and work plans.

· Union Employee Preferred

· Experience as an HVAC Service Technician

· Ability to work staggered schedule

· Must be able to perform the physical requirement of the job

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to multi-task and focus amid distractions

· Good listener and a team player

· Detail oriented

· Organized, flexible and follow directions

· Hard-working and motivated

Minimum Requirements

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

· Must be able to climb ladders.

· Must be able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crawling and prolonged standing.

· Ability to advise customers of potential issues and suggest upgrades to improve efficiency and indoor air quality products.

· Follow instructions from supervisor and complete in a timely manner.

· Work cooperatively with others. Work independently with little direction.

· Interact with clients to ensure satisfaction.
