- Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member.
- Provides timely, continuous age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patient and family for next level of care.
- Provides and documents nursing care to pre/post-operative patients of all ages.
- Perform a variety of technical skills such as insertion and maintenance of IVs, telemetry, blood product administration, infusion pumps, etc.
- Direct, plan and coordinate work flow.
- Coordinate care with patients, family, physicians and other nursing staff.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota required.
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
- Previous experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing helpful.
- Varied, 12-hour, early morning shifts;
