Required Skills and Experience *
9+ years' experience with Windows based systems administration and engineering
3-5 years of experience with enterprise level management tools for Windows desktop based administration
o SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, InTune preferred
Enterprise Windows Device Configuration
o AD GPOs, MEM Device Configurations, AppSense Environment Manager and related tools
Encryption and Data Loss Prevention
o BitLocker and MDE preferred
Endpoint detection and response tools
o Microsoft Defender or Endpoint preferred
Windows Provisioning and Deployment (Microsoft AutoPilot and cloud-based desktop deployment preferred)
Demonstrate experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
DevOps/Automation for Desktop and\or management-
o Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet (1-2 years preferred)
o Ansible Windows modules experience a plus.
Experience with Citrix
Experience with Azure (Azure AD, Hybrid environments)
Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert
Job Description *
A large healthcare client in San Diego is looking for a Technical Systems Administrator III to join their team. This candidate will be joining the Enterprise Desktop Architecture group. Their day to day will consist of desktop administration at the enterprise level, enterprise device configuration, encryption and data loss prevention, automation, and more. Microsoft patching, automation and DevOps of the environment, enterprise monitoring with Splunk, server-based installations, another outstanding tasks. May include monitoring Citrix based images and managing end point-based software installs and uninstalls.
