Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Developmental Screener in the Butler area.

Position Summary:

The Developmental Screener is responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old.

This position is responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional, non-threatening manner and providing parents with information on developmental appropriate activities and child development.

This position works Monday through Wednesday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Thursday 8:00am - 12:00pm.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology or a Human Service field OR a High School Diploma/GED and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle

Preferred:

• Child Development Assessment experience
