If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within the school district in Levittown, NY.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional.
    • Work closely with students, teachers, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized support and interventions.
    • Collect and record data on student behavior to track progress and assist in the evaluation of treatment effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify behavior plans based on individual student needs.
    • Provide support in the implementation of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
    • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and socialization.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other team members regarding student progress and behavior.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) in a related field such as psychology, education, or behavior analysis.
    • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
    • Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
    • Knowledge and understanding of behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis principles.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
