Description
Are you a Licensed Audiologist interested in a challenging assessment role?
Would you like to make a difference by serving the Veteran community?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits evaluation.
Before meeting with you, Veterans submit their claims and all their medical records are uploaded to a secure portal for your review. You will perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the system. This information is crucial for determining the Veterans' benefits.
The Audiologist will not be involved in prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
In this role, you will assess an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule - 4 days/week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
This is an IN-PERSON position with 1 to 1.5 hours allocated per patient. No late evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales.
