    Description

    Systems Engineer Position at ENSCO

    ENSCO is looking to fill a mid-level systems engineer role focused on aircraft propulsion systems at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure requirements are converted into effective systems solutions
    • Conduct functional analysis and interface definition studies
    • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles for system innovation
    • Participate in system engineering life cycle activities
    • Apply testing, analysis, and modeling tools for system performance estimation
    • Implement requirements for propulsion systems and vehicle fuel systems

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's, or 0 years with a PhD in a related field
    • Experience in planning and implementing Systems Engineering activities
    • Knowledge of aerospace design and development processes
    • US Citizen with Secret security clearance

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with MBSE tools like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, and Rhapsody
    • Proficiency in MATLAB, PYTHON, and other programming languages
    • Familiarity with engine test facilities and high-speed airbreathing propulsion
    • Background in solid rocket propulsion and multidisciplinary design
