    Software Engineer - SWE - Dulles, VA Our client is collaborating with a U.S
    Government Prime contractor to undertake a critical program focused on developing, sustaining, and managing a network operations environment
    This includes the introduction of novel cyber capabilities to tackle evolving threats
    We are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions

    Key Duties:

    • Contribute to technical architecture design, ensuring code excellence for a reliable and recoverable environment
    • Support in designing, prototyping, implementing, testing, and deploying business rules and technical solutions
    • Develop and integrate custom components, and amalgamate legacy systems using mid-server and related technologies
    • Manage, update, and document platform operation procedures, policies, and software development life cycle adhering to agile methodologies

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Must be a U.S
    Citizen


    • Active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
    • Eligibility to obtain DHS Suitability
    • A minimum of 6 years relevant experience
    • Knowledge in infrastructure as Code, CI/CD Pipelines, and cloud orchestration principles and methods
    • Proficiency in Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
    • Proficient in requirement gathering, database design schemas, and data modeling
    • Expertise in creating CI/CD Pipelines to enhance Agile practice efficiency using Agile/DevOps metrics and dashboards
    • Competency in designing and developing metrics
    • At least 2 years of experience in IaC, Pipelines, and/or Orchestration
    • Skilled in process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge or experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Continuous Development/Integration, and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, NiFi, AWS, JIRA, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter, and Cucumber
    • Technical insight into cyber attack methods and mitigation strategies

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering
    Relevant work experience can substitute for degree education (two years of experience per year of education).

    Desired Certifications:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - ISACA
    • ITIL Foundation v4 Certification or willingness to obtain within one year of hire
    • Compliance with DODI M at IAT Level I

    Salary:
    $112,000
