    8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers.

    The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings' private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H.

    Lee Partners, L.P. ("THL"), a private equity firm.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:


    As our Adaptive Planning System Manager, you will lead the Finance and Accounting team in transforming existing business planning needs (budgeting, revenue, personnel, KPIs, reporting & analytics) into the Workday Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud.

    It will be your responsibility to maximize the day-to-day system functionality, maintenance, administration, and enhancements of Adaptive Planning along with the integrations with our general ledger/operational platform, JD Edwards.

    This includes helping with design, development, coding, and testing, along with steps necessary to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of configuration, settings, and mappings to guarantee the integrity of financial information within the system.

    You will be a key contributor within the Financial Analysis and Reporting team, producing relevant and actionable management reporting and analytics.

    This role will partner very closely with all members of the Management team and, more broadly, throughout the organization on matters relating to delivering financial and operational performance that will enable the company to achieve its strategic objectives.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Providing expertise on the Workday Adaptive Planning solution – you will be expected to maintain proficiency and certification in the Workday Adaptive Planning solution suite.

    Working with Finance to understand their current planning process and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Workday Adaptive Planning.

    Leveraging your expertise to recommend the best solution based on requirements, budget, and timeframe, with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.

    Guiding users through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each user's unique business requirements at all stages of the project.

    Developing and configuring accurate forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning to meet Finance's business needs. Planning and conducting training sessions for users.

    Supporting business stakeholders to ensure success – you will communicate regularly, concisely, and clearly with business stakeholders to set proper expectations to ensure success.

    You will also provide general customer service and assistance and serve as the go-to resource on all system-related inquiries. Has administrative rights to set up security for the end-users in Workday Adaptive Planning. Creates and maintains dimensions, dimension members, and hierarchies. Manages data and metadata load processes and mappings, including validations, to confirm the quality and accuracy of data.

    Monitors and ensures accuracy of integrations from JD Edwards and other supporting systems into Adaptive, including data loads and extracts, enhancements for interfaces, functions, and features.

    Creates and maintains Financial and Ad-hoc reporting utilizing OfficeConnect and HTML reports and customized dashboards.


    Education and Experience Required:
    Previous experience managing or implementing Adaptive Planning and Workday software is a must. A bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Five plus years of experience in a financial planning or systems administration position. Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, and project management skills to manage dimensions, hierarchies, and attributes. Financial modeling at P&L level experience preferred.

    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and perform VLOOKUPs, nested if statements, and logic formulas.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain confidential information (e.g., salaries) Experience working in multi-entity and product line businesses. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities across stakeholders. Work Environment Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
