Job description
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants in Garden City, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or errands
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to appropriate supervisory staff
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
- Ability to pass background checks.
