    Description

    Outside Sales Representative

    We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Acosta. This role is primarily responsible for calling on independent stores to sell our products, present new items for authorization, and drive promotional activity.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Visit assigned stores in the territory monthly to present new items, secure orders, and access distribution of existing products.
    • Present promotional activity to store buyers and secure orders for displays and events.
    • Enter turnover orders into the system and transmit to the office for delivery by distributors.
    • Work with stores on special projects such as demos, trade events, remodels, and new store openings.
    • Maintain current knowledge of products and new items, as well as rapport with regional managers of clients.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/GED required.
    • Five years prior retail experience required.
    • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and have a valid driver's license.
    • Must be available for occasional overnight travel and willing to work in cold conditions.
