    Position Overview

    The General Manager is responsible for the day to day operations, growth, and profitability of our local distribution center in Seattle, WA.

    Job Duties:

    Operational Responsibilities:

    • Ensure policies and procedures are followed within the distribution center.
    • Meet goals and objectives as set by the company, along with maximize profits.
    • Actively manage any personnel related issues, including disciplinary action, performance reviews, PTO tracking, training and development, and time management.
    • Meet company requirements for managing inventory levels and turn ratios.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are being met.
    • Attend weekly meetings with VP of Operations to discuss location status and any issues.
    • Responsible for submitting daily sales forecasts to management.
    • Utilizing ERP system and reviewing/sharing reports as required

    Financial Responsibilities:

    • Maintain visibility of cash collection efforts for your DC accounts receivable and provide support when needed with Corporate AR Manager.
    • Oversee processing of accounts payable data entry that is performed locally, including any trade purchases.
    • Ensure the DC and company budget are being managed and used effectively.
    • Make recommendation on capital expenditures and submit to VP of Operations in advance of purchase for final approval.
    • Oversee and manage indirect operating expenses for the PC, including but not limited to payroll, temp labor, and warehouse and office supplies.
    • Review your monthly PC income statement and support the maximization of net profit

    Strategic Planning:

    • The GM will be responsible for driving new business, developing key accounts, directing sales, closing business, solution selling and to be a consultative sales professional with Brennan's sales personnel and customers. Willing to travel within markets PNW & BC, Canada 30-40%.
    • Responsible for managing key accounts relative to sales execution, developing key accounts by directing sales and strategically aligning Brennan's position, providing strategic sales plan, tracking quota achievement and sales growth.
    • Support sales staff for the PC and ensure pricing and gross margins are maximized.
    • Responsible for strategic negotiations, creating win-win business scenarios, developing and reviewing contractual business opportunities and deal closure.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Bachelor Degree required in Business Management, with at least 7 year of experience working within the fittings industry.
    • Ability to review and understand P&L statements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and 365, along with experience working with an ERP system. NetSuite experience is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to organize, set priorities and exercise sound judgement within established guidelines.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor Degree required in Business Management, with at least 7 year of experience working within the fittings industry (preferred).

    Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

    Local Pay Range$90,000—$120,000 USD
