    Schedule/Travel:

    You will perform on-site technical services at customer sites throughout your assigned region (primarily in and around Houston, TX, but occasionally throughout the US).

    You can expect ~50%-75% overnight travel. When you aren't travelling overnight, you will be providing technical service to customers in the local area.

    Compensation:
    Target base salary ~$95K - $130K

    Bonuses/Additional Compensation:
    eligible for annual incentive bonus (typically in 10% ballpark)

    Position Description :

    In this role you will be responsible for all productivity in the facility and utility support areas, addressing all day-to-day interruptions as they arise.

    You will oversee all plant building and grounds maintenance operations and be responsible for planning, scheduling and directing all building and utility staff.

    You will be expected to develop, implement and/or continually improve preventive maintenance programs and procedures for the effective operation of the Facility, while ensuring that all plant utility systems are fully inspected per the preventative maintenance schedules and that the work is documented.


    Some other specific responsibilities include:

    • Champion plant energy usage related to the facilities and utility equipment - monitor and report on daily & monthly usage, provide input on occurrences and trends and serve as a Point of Contact for the local utility providers
    • Prepare cost estimates for facility and utility safety programs, repairs and/or renovations, equipment upgrades and cost savings projects. Serve as the project lead for these programs, providing guidance for design, implementation, and installation & startup support.
    • Establish safety as a priority within the facility & utility team, and throughout the plant. Work closely with the facility and utility team on safety suggestions / implementations. Ensure a safe work place is provided for all employees; frequently inspects work areas for safety compliance. Completes accident or near miss investigations and schedule appropriate follow-up reviews; identifies areas of needed learning and conducts necessary training to create a "zero harm" environment.
    • Provide strong 'experience based' leadership for the plant buildings, grounds and associated utility support equipment.
    • Develop customer relationships with all departments and serves as their facilities single point of contact, understand their needs and expectations and translate them into facilities and site service solutions
    • Ensure all facility & utility related compliance with state, federal and local laws/regulations and corporate directives and programs.
    • Be a "Power User" of the plant CMMS. Ensure proper recording of maintenance connection tickets, allocation of hours, ticket follow up and ticket closure.
    In order to be successful in this role, you should have significant industrial facilities engineering experience. You should have prior experience managing projects and plant installations on a large scale (up to $1MM). This includes vendor management to complete tasks.

    You must have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics and utilize technical manuals, and have detailed knowledge of industrial electrical, HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, tower water and chilled water systems / system.

    You will be expected to be a CMMS expert.
