Job Summary
The Sports Program Director will oversee the organization and running of the facility's sports and non-sports programs including leagues tournaments local events or programs held They will oversee the setup organization of venue's athletic programs sports camps clinics sports specific instruction tournaments any other programs held The Sports Program Director will work closely with individual leaders each program rights holders internal departments successfully accomplish these responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING Plan develop execute facility sport programs camps leagues tournaments local programming events Manage ongoing facility schedule Develop programming target various markets ranging corporate group adult youth family special interest groups Develop manage program sporting event budgets Create develop sales initiatives goals leagues tournaments special events etc Generate sales networking building relationships creating strategic alliances Track report weekly sales totals Oversee aspects programs special activities Hire train manage motivate sports programming event staff provided direct oversight camp sports programming local Team members Effectively coordinating registration process Tracking reporting weekly data appropriate Team Members Using stakeholder feedback implement improvement initiatives Offering valuable input help strive maximum utilization Effectively collaborating Marketing Team support programming/camp/events campaign efforts Serving main points contact all communication Serving collaborating Operations Team ensure consistent accurate processes/information Assisting ensuring service standards met all customer experience aspectsResponsibilities
