- Perform field-level testing, synchronization, maintenance, and repair on communications equipment such as the digital command and control system known as Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below-Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2/BFT).
- Maintain and update software network initialization data, maps, system change packages, and cryptographic keys for various types of electronic communication devices.
- Test, adjust, troubleshoot, modify, aligns, service and repair a variety of optical devices, sub-assemblies and components.
- Identify and requisition communications parts as a result of inspections and services.
- Locate, isolate, repair, and replace defective components or parts including power supplies, connectors, resistors, transformers, hard drives, boards, and basic functional circuits.
- Install, remove, and repair antenna components as required.
- Perform technical inspections and execute maintenance services on equipment organic to organization.
