ENSCO Rail Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical support Engineer to join their team located in Belmont, Western Australia in support of the ENSCO Rail high-speed, real-time track inspection systems supplied to the international railway market. This position requires a self-motivated, multi-talented person to work both in the office and in the field. The position will suit someone with a background in a service and support role for instrumentation and measurement systems who is interested in, or already works in the rail industry. Suitably motivated graduate engineers would also be considered for this position.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Conduct work between various domestic and international customer sites (up to 50% of the time) and the ENSCO Rail Australia office in Belmont, Perth

Provide field service and support including equipment installation, calibration, troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and repair of specialised measurement equipment on railway vehicles.

Carry out the assembly, test, debug, and repair of electronic hardware, cables, component chassis wiring, sensor assemblies, and associated computer equipment.

Install and configure computer hardware and software.

Provide routine analysis of measurement data and generate customer reports.

Manage phone and email technical support inquiries (Helpdesk) from ENSCO's office in Perth..
