    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience performing general and vascular ultrasound procedures, with ARDMS registry and Epic EMR experience.

    Responsibilities
    Hospital-based ultrasonography department
    Performs general and vascular ultrasound procedures; ABIs, segmental pressures, echo, and breast ultrasound are not required
    4x10-hour day shifts with after-hours call and rotating weekend shifts
    40 hours per week
    Responsibilities include operating ultrasound imaging equipment, positioning and immobilizing patients, coordinating examinations for timeliness and quality, and submitting images with clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation
    Communicates openly with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership
    Practices sterile technique and adheres to infection prevention policies
    Former permanent staff must have been separated from any facility in the Intermountain system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
    Background check and drug screen required; candidates should plan to complete drug screening within 24 hours of commitment

    Requirements
    Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience
    Associate's degree required
    Active ARDMS registry required; license required if applicable
    BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire prior to start)
    Epic EMR experience required
    DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
