- Defense Information System for Security (DISS) system as outlined by the Defense security Service (DSS)
- Create, support, and provide assistance with DD Form 254, Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specifications for various contracting efforts with various classification and safeguarding requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant security experience, including experience working with DD254s and working knowledge of security related programs, i.e., DISS/NBIS, NISS, eQip, etc.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong working knowledge of the management of classified Information systems and DoD Closed areas
- Experience with facilitating an Insider Threat Team in accordance with NISPOM guidance
- Proven ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Experience managing Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems in accordance with DoD, NISPOM and UL standards
- Strong understanding of identifying, delivering, and managing Security Education and Training in accordance with DoD, Specific Customer and NISPOM guidance and requirements
- Working knowledge of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
- In-depth knowledge of NISPOM
- Working knowledge of security related programs, i.e., DISS/NBIS, NISS, eQip, etc.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Proven ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Experience managing Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems in accordance with DoD, NISPOM and UL standards
- Strong understanding of identifying, delivering, and managing Security Education and Training in accordance with DoD, Specific Customer and NISPOM guidance and requirements
- Instruction from the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) and the Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Certification Program
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification is required Required Clearance
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI required EOE M/F/Disability/Vet

Description
The Facilities Security Specialist will support PEO EIS Government Security Specialists participating in all administrative security disciplines, to include maintaining a certified and accredited facility and robust security programYou will participate on a team of Security Specialist professionals and be knowledgeable of security measures governing and protecting the Army's most sensitive information, activities, technology, and operations
Responsible for assisting in implementing and enforcing Collateral, SCI, and SAP security policy and procedures as set forth by DoD and Army regulations
Perform administrative assistance in oversight for information, physical, industrial, and personnel security programs: Assist in developing and implementing solutions to a myriad of complex security issues and coordinate those solutions with higher and peer headquarters/offices
Assist in the development and application of training programs that supports the PEO EIS mission
