**Job Description**

Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic professional for the role of "Trainer" on our Day team. ?This is an outstanding opportunity to help drive the improvement and success of all our team members.

**Shift Details** :

Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

**Position Description:**

The Training position will involve:

Assisting the Operations Manager and department leaders in the training and development of all warehouse associates

Using current training methods as well as creating and implementing new processes as needed

Operate Power Industrial Equipment as needed to assist in the certification process

Manage all training records using Microsoft Excel

Manage and maintain all signed documentation needed for training completion in all areas

Train individuals in inventory, receiving, picking, packing, quality control, sorting, loading, and replenishment functions

Monitor employee performance to determine areas of improvement. Create and implement training steps as needed

**Minimum Requirements:**

HS Diploma or Equivalent

1+ years experience in a warehouse Distribution Center

0-1+ years experience operating Power equipment (Order Picker, Reach Truck) or, willing to be trained.

2+ years of related Training Experience

1+ years Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

1-2 years of proven training experience

**Critical Skills:**

0-1+ years Working knowledge of Material Handling functionalities to include 1+ years Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

0-1+years of picking/packing, receiving, sorting, replenishment, inventory functions, scanning, power equipment operation

1+ years of proven experience -Excellent communication with the ability to speak clearly and professionally while explaining and demonstrating process

1+ years of proven experience - Identify areas of opportunity or concern and create both process and training to drive needed improvement

Passion and commitment to the success of all team members

**Physical Requirements:**

Ability to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)

Must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, stoop for long periods of time

Able to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)

Working with RF scanning equipment
