Instrument Fitter Lead needed in Geismar, LA.MUST have NCCER or MORE THAN 10 YRS of experience as an Instrument Fitter to qualify for this position.

General Job Description:
To safely and efficiently bend and install pneumatic tubing

Essential Duties and Skills:

Layout, measure, fabricate and install tubing traysBend and install single line and group tubing and fittingsAssist electricians when neededAbility to recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangersAnd other assigned dutiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED is requiredMust have a valid driver's license OR state ID Must be able to work independently with little to no supervisionMust possess the ability to speak with customers and various divisions on an as needed basisMust have intermediate knowledge of with Microsoft OfficePhysical Requirements, in a given day include, but are not limited to:ability to sit (50%), stand (80%) and walk (80%) for prolonged periods of timeability to climb ladders (up to 50%) and work from elevated work surfacesability to walk up and down stairs (possibly several flights)ability to lift up to 25 poundswhen required, wear all necessary PPE and clothingability to work in all elements (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) for prolonged periods of timeability to work around loud noises (ear plugs are provided) up to 75% of the time while workingThis job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned.
