Here, you will fabricate aluminum stock using automated saws, drills, power tools and CNC machinery.You will be a key member of a highly collaborative and seasoned professional team in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
This position earns a competitive union salary starting at $28.72/hr. and eligible for daily overtime after 8 hours. After 12 months in the production role, the salary would be $31.75/hr. As a Production Assembler/Operator, you will be responsible for custom fabrication of store front systems, curtain wall systems, and aluminum doors.
You will use CNC machinery and power tools to cut holes and notches into aluminum stock and assemble the fabricated parts in preparation for field install by our glazing crews.
You will inspect products for any abnormalities and ensure a high-quality product.
Using our standard operating processes and software, you will ensure metal product is created for commercial jobs on time and to specifications.
Production Assembler/Operator (Architectural Metal) QUALIFICATIONS
High School degree / GED required
2 years of experience in metal fabrication or related metal manufacturing
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. assisted
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day with frequent lifting, carrying, bending and stretching
Ability to accurately use a tape measure and read architectural drawings and schematics
Experience fabricating on aluminum metal utilizing CNC machinery strongly preferred
Welding experience not required

PAY RATE
Production workers start at $28.72/hr. and progress to $31.75/hr. after 12 months.
WORK SCHEDULE
This Production Assembler/Operator position is full-time with a schedule of 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and paid overtime beyond 8 hours daily.
