    Job Description

    As an Instructional System Designer (ISD) on the F35 ALIS and Mission Planning Environment training development team, you will apply the ADDIE process to training requirements to create and sustain courseware, create and sustain work instructions, attend program and team meetings, collaborate with your team members, subject matter experts, engineers, and other product teams.

    • You will participate in all aspects of the ADDIE process for various training projects and scenarios to ensure the effective development of sound courseware content to meet the customers' needs.
    • Will adhere to approved style guides and JSF ISD instructional design plan that documents policies and standards.
    • Must have excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
    • Must be able to communicate with engineers, graphic artists, and subject matter experts.
    • Must be able to read and understand technical data.
    • Will create and sustain work instructions.
    • Must be a proven self-starter who can interact effectively with military industry and academic partners.
    • May participate in training needs analysis and gap analysis.
    • Training will be developed using the program of record Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
    • Must be familiar with F35 ALIS, MPE or admin software applications.
    • Will work onsite at Eglin AFB, FL.
    Desired skills


    The following are desired skills:

    • Excellent writing and editing skills.
    • Familiarity with military training standards and developing training for domestic and international military personnel.
    • Working knowledge of F35 ALIS or mission planning software.
    • Experience creating work instructions
    • Experience developing Job Aids using Adobe Captivate
    • Experience using agile tools such as Confluence or JIRA
    • Experience using a Learning Content Management System such as dominKnow, 360 or similar programs
