Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated RN Emergency Care having expertise in emergency care for a Full-time position in Alexandria, Louisiana. Join our team and contribute to promoting healing and well-being by providing expert care to patients.

Responsibilities:

· Assess patient/family health, taking a leadership role in planning and implementing nursing care.

· Provide technical nursing care to a designated patient population.

· Ensure adherence to the Department's Scope of Practice.

· Tailor care to meet the unique needs of patients, considering developmental age.

· Deliver services to all patients, regardless of age.

· Take accountability for nursing plan outcomes and participate in evaluations.

· Foster effective communication and collaboration within the nursing team.

· Engage in professional development for ongoing improvement.

· Adhere to nursing practice standards and contribute to quality improvement.

· Demonstrate competence in responding to emergencies.

· Provide effective nursing interventions during critical incidents.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be able to prioritize workflow daily. Ability to interpret medical terminology and possess an understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  
• One year of recent experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required, bilingual (English/Spanish; English/French) preferred.
  
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
  
• Current Louisiana RN License
  
• Current BLS
  
• ACLS & PALS within 3 months of hire
  
• De-Escalation certification
  
• TNCC certification preferred
