    Basic Job Function

    Hilldrup is seeking an experienced forklift operator who will be responsible for loading and unloading freight trucks by operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The incumbent will be responsible for accurately receiving and picking product with use of the Warehouse Management Systems, while operating safely and efficiently at all times. This position has daily contact with drivers, operations personnel, local service providers, customer service personnel, as well as customers and vendor's representatives.


    Significant Responsibilities and Essential Functions

    1. Operates 3 and 4-stage forklift, pallet jacks and cherry pickers.

    2. Takes exceptions on inbound shipments, inputs data into WMS.

    3. Loads outbound shipments and updates the WMS

    4. Maintains neat, accurate paperwork.

    5. Must be able to lift and carry lbs up and up to 200 lbs. in a team carry.

    6. Keeps assigned warehouse safe and clean.

    7. Keeps facility and grounds clean.

    8. Runs sweeper in and around assigned area.

    9. Available to work on Saturdays when needed.

    Minimum Job Qualifications Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent work experience;
    • Six months to one year minimum of forklift experience required;
    • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems;
    • Must be able to lift and carry lbs, and up to 200 lbs. in a team carry;
    • Forklift Operator certification.
