    Description
    A client in the utilities industry is seeking a GIS Technician to join their team in Centerville, Ohio. This individual is responsible for supporting multiple business departments with projects relating to GIS, data management, and contracting companies.

    The GIS Technician will assist with digitizing projects, correcting errors found in backlogged documents and work orders, and reviewing historical documents to ensure accuracy by updating and editing within the client's internal database.

    This individual is required to work in the office, five days per week. This is a contract position and will be 6-12 months long.

    Required Skills & Experience

    1-3 years of GIS experience

    HS Diploma

    Experience working with ArcGIS, Esri, or related GIS software platform

    Quick learner, problem solver, and eager to learn

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    ArcGIS Pro experience

    Previous experience in utilities or oil and gas industry
